THE POWER AND IMPORTANCE OF HEALTHY COMMUNICATION SKILLS
As school districts across the United States integrate curriculum for growth and development in the Social and Emotional Learning competencies, these behavior areas are evaluated by observation. The very basic criteria for observing social and emotional development start with the student’s ability to communicate with others. This training zeros in on strengthening and bringing cognitive awareness to delivering effective communication while interconnecting one’s personal ability to establish, define and communicate personal boundaries.

Discover standards-based healthy eating and physical activity learning experiences promoting physical literacy and health literacy.

This presentation focuses on individual physical education in the school as well as family PE at home.  We will cover modified and new games using standard equipment while discussing how to use common items found at home for physical education.  This year we need to get away from high activity group games and focus on Individual Skills, SEL, and Family PE at home.  This year we have a unique opportunity to help family’s bond through Physical Education and I believe we are needed now, more than ever before.
