Rose joined TAHPERD in September 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Health/Physical Education from Emporia State University (Kansas), a Master of Education degree from Prairie View A&M University (Texas), and has advanced studies in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University (Florida). In 2014, Rose retired with 39 years of service in public education, which includes teaching experiences at the elementary, secondary, and college levels in the states of Kansas and Texas.
