Email Addresses on your TAHPERD Account

 

Here's a couple tips about setting up emails on your account....

 

1) Set your Member Portal Username to your Personal Email Address - if you ever change districts, you will always be able to reset your password. (You will get an email about this one after you have paid for your membership.)

2) Set your Primary Email Address to be your District Email Address- If you campus staff is registering you, it makes you easy to find.

3) Add your personal email address as an Additional Email Address- If you ever change districts, you will still get TAHPERD communications.

Professional Members are individuals educated with university or college degrees and/or certified professionals employed in the fields of health education, physical education, recreation, or dance. Individuals who are employed in the fields of health education, physical education, recreation, or dance and/or attending graduate school part time must be professional members.

Associate Members. Associate Members are individuals not qualifying for another form of membership, for example, teacher aides, teachers certified in another teaching area.

 Student Members. Student Members are undergraduate students and full time graduate students, enrolled at colleges and universities preparing for careers in health education, physical education, recreation, dance, or allied fields. 

 

Individuals who are employed in the fields of health education, physical education, recreation, or dance and/or attending graduate school part time must be PROFESSIONAL/ ASSOCIATE MEMBERS. 

If you are employed by a school, please go back to the membership page and select Professional or Associate Membership.

 

All Student Membership applications will be reviewed by the TAHPERD office to determine full eligibility. You may be required to submit additional documentation to support your application.
