The 87th Annual TAHPERD Convention

Dates: December 1 - 4, 2010

Place: Moody Gardens
Galveston, Texas

Galveston is continuing to move forward and rebuild after Hurricane Ike. All of the hotels and tourist interests are in full operation but many of the homes are still being rebuilt. In the historic district, many of the grand old trees were lost to the high winds. Using their perservering spirit and creativity, Galvestonians created art from ruin. The remaining trunks of these old trees were sculpted with chain saws into art. CLICK HERE for a virtual tour and information.
